A healthcare client using Medact HIPAA-compliant software approached us with a need to streamline and enhance their reporting capabilities. They relied on a set of pre-built, or “canned,” reports generated through SAP Crystal Reports, but these standard reports only provided limited data views, primarily focused on sales figures. The client required more dynamic, customizable reports to analyze data by region and across various pharmacies.
However, Medact lacked built-in functionality for end users to create custom reports directly within the software. This limitation forced the organization to frequently engage external consultants to develop these tailored reports, adding unnecessary costs and delays.
In response, we developed a suite of customized reports that provided comprehensive, flexible data views for regional and pharmacy-based analysis. Our solution empowers end-users to generate custom reports independently, significantly improving efficiency and reducing dependency on outside support. With these capabilities now integrated, the Medact software offers the enhanced reporting features that could have streamlined processes from the start.
